Ice skating at Dundrum – “Dundrum on Ice”
Dundrum on Ice has relocated this year. The new location, still within Dundrum Town Centre, is equipped with an impressive 500 sq.m. of white ice; this is a great day out for the entire family. Each session lasts 45 minutes and starts on the hour; the centre recommends to arrive 20 minutes in advance.
For children new to skating, the centre recommends booking an off-peak time when the rink is less crowded.
Note: Three years old is the recommended lower age limit, however if the child can walk and is stable on the feet, the centre has friendly bobby skates which go over the shoes in addition to the penguin skating aids.
Parents / Guardians accompanying children must remain in the venue during the ice skating session.
The Ice rink can be found via the Boots corridor level 2 on the Sandyford Road.

Ice Skating Blanchardstown
Located next to the Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, Ice Skating Blanchardstown boasts an impressive 800sq.m. ice rink. There is also a small rink dedicated to the little ones; this is a separate rink from the main (and larger) rink and most suitable for children from the age of three. Little Penguin Skating Aids are provided to help the little ones. The centre recommends three years of age as a minimum; you are allowed to have your child test the rink before purchasing a ticket (just in case they change their mind).
Skating sessions are 50 minutes long with a 20 minutes break to allow for the rink to be prepared.

Malahide Skates at Malahide Castle
Opening November 29th 2019 to January 5th 2020
The 500 sq.m. Ice Rink of Malahide Skates is housed in a marquee on the grounds of the magnificent Malahide Castle! What a perfect setup to spend a great day out with the family.
Skate sessions start on the hour and lasts for 50 minutes; it is recommended to be at the venue 20 minutes prior to the beginning of the session.The minimum age for skating is 4 and all children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
In case you are wondering, there is a really good AVOCA coffee shop at Malahide Castle which would be the perfect venue for an afternoon tea.
You may even see Santa as he makes the odd skating appearance.
